Introduction to Undergraduate Programs
Based on the practice of innovative talent training, 3 out of the 5 programs of the School have been designated as first-class undergraduate programs, with a coverage rate of 60%. Among them, International Economics and Trade is a National First-Class Undergraduate Program and an Autonomous Region-level Characteristic Demonstration Undergraduate Program, while Finance and Taxation are Autonomous Region-level First-Class Undergraduate Programs.
Students of all programs in the School (including International Economics and Trade, Finance, Taxation, Economics, and Digital Economy) are eligible to apply for the "3+1" training mode. First launched by Guangxi Minzu University, this "Major + Language" mode takes advantage of the university’s status as a National Undergraduate Talent Training Base for Non-Common Foreign Languages and its geographical advantage adjacent to Southeast Asian countries. Relying on the university’s distinctive disciplines such as Southeast Asian languages, it organically integrates Southeast Asian language studies with business-related majors, forming a new talent training model. The "3+1" mode has been recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and employers.
Currently, the School has established cooperative relationships with many overseas universities, including Troy University in the United States, Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom, HELP University and SEGi University in Malaysia, Dhurakij Pundit University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Rangsit University in Thailand, University of Social Sciences and Humanities under Vietnam National University, and University of Languages and International Studies under Vietnam National University.
